These SMS Terms and Conditions describe how Nickerson Law APC provides text message communications through the Nickerson Law Alerts program. By opting in, you agree to these terms.

1) Consent and Privacy

Information Phone Numbers obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2) Types of SMS Communications

With your consent, you may receive the following non confidential communications

  • Appointment reminders

  • Consultation confirmations and rescheduling

  • Intake or document reminders

  • Case or matter status updates non confidential

  • Event reminders such as webinars and workshops

  • Billing notices or payment reminders

  • One time verification codes

  • General firm announcements by request only

Example: Hello, this is a reminder of your upcoming appointment with Nickerson Law APC at Location on Date at Time. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

3) Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 4 messages per month.

4) Potential Fees

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Domestic messaging is supported. International delivery may not be available on all carriers.

5) Opt in Methods

You can opt in to Nickerson Law Alerts by texting the keyword YES or JOIN to our messaging number. We will send a confirmation message after you opt in.

6) Opt out Methods

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or CANCEL to any message. You may also contact us to request removal from the messaging list.

9) Program and Carrier Details

Messages are sent from a ten digit long code number. Delivery is subject to your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10) Content Boundaries

SMS messages are for administrative and informational purposes only. SMS messages will not include legal advice, privileged or confidential information, or protected health information.

11) Eligibility

You must be the account holder or have the account holder’s permission to enroll a mobile number. You must be at least 13 years old to participate. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

12) Changes

We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued participation after changes means you accept the revised terms.
